I'll probably be back at Disneyland for Bats Day. Until then...
My Favorite Quiet Spots
*The small "cemetery" behind Fort Wilderness on Tom Sawyer Island. Bring a friend and take turns snapping pictures of each other lying in the (shallow) open grave. Fun Fact: Two tombstones commemorate real people: longtime Disney employee Larry Clemons, and Wally Feignoux, who kept prints of Disney movies out of Nazi hands during the 1940 invasion of Paris by burying them.
*The side street intersecting Main Street, near the lockers. Grab a soda, park yourself at one of the little tables, and listen to sound effects coming from the dentist's office, hotel, piano teacher, and detective's office.
*Le Court des Anges in New Orleans Square.
