As previously mentioned, I won't be at Disneyland until sometime in August (crowds + heat = cranky Sally).

In lieu of the usual semiweekly trip report, I'm going to post lists of a few of my favorite things about DL.

Queue Areas that are Worth The Wait:

*Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin. You're pulled right into the downtown Toontown setting and immersed in the ride's backstory.
*Indiana Jones Adventure. I haven't actually ridden this in 10 years because it's a VERY bumpy ride and aggravates my back problem, but I definitely remember being fascinated by all the details (try deciphering the Mara code if you're in the standby line and bored).
*Jungle Cruise. It's all about the room settings. And the 1930s "radio" program that's mysteriously coming from somewhere.
*Haunted Mansion. The tombstones are gone from the hill above the queue, but you can still admire the pet cemetery and read the inscriptions on the crypts. Watch the big wooden door by the crypts closely and you just might see a parent and kid exiting the "chicken walk".
*Enchanted Tiki Room. Arrive at least 5 minutes before the show starts and watch the tiki gods come to life.
